I LOVE YOUR DESIGNS BUT YOU ARE OUT OF MY BUDGET. WHAT TO DO?
If you'e a start-up and custom branding is not in your budget then you should definitely consider my Brand Shop. Here, I offer affordable premade designs with various optional extras to craft a professional appearance for you that establishes trust.
I’D LIKE TO GO AHEAD, HOW DO WE GET THE PROCESS STARTED?
Yay! Please email me with a detailed list of all the elements you will be needing so I can email you a customised quote. I need a 50% deposit before I can start your project. This fee is non-refundable.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes I do! My payments are broken into two with the first being the 50% deposit that secures your spot and the second being the balance that is due on completion of your branding and before I hand over the final files.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT POLICIES?
You can pay via EFT or cash. I allow the design fee to be split into two but all printing costs must covered in full before any deliveries can be made.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
We'll first go over a few questions to establish the direction of the design. I will send you 3-4 options for you to adjust. Remember that the package fee includes a maximum of three sets of changes per element. Thereafter additional fees will apply. For more details have a look at my design process over here.
HOW LONG DOES IT USUALLY TAKE?
This will depend on the complexity of our project and the current workflow in my studio. I'll usually send you the first presentation of logos within 7-14 working days after the final inspiration board has been approved. Changes to elements can take anywhere from 3-5 days depending on the workflow in my studio.
YOU’RE IN JOHANNESBURG BUT I’M NOT, WHAT NOW?
No problem! We can either communicate via email or set up a skype session. I will email your proofs to you and courier your final products to you.
HOW DOES POSTAGE WORK?
I will send the final elements to you via an overnight courier. The price will vary depending on the size of the parcel. For small to medium size parcels the price is usually between R100 and R250.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT SATISFIED?
Hopefully this won’t happen. To minimise the chance we will consult through each step of the process to make sure we are on the same page. I will send you an inspiration board to confirm this. If you still feel we aren’t achieving the look you had in mind then we will meet again and you will receive an additional draft, at no extra charge.
WHAT PLATFORMS DO YOU DESIGN WEBSITES ON?
I only design on Squarespace at this point. The simple reason is that I want to design beautiful, functional sites that showcase your work and that is easy enough for you to manage on your own. Squarespace's back end is simple enough for anyone to manage. Your website is not just about the pretty but about the functional too. You only have a few seconds to grab your viewers attention and less than two minutes to keep it. So your website needs to be built in a way to connect with your viewer and keep them on your site longer. It also needs to be visible in search engine results. Squarespace's SEO is easy to manage and their technical support and security are first class. Their new analytics section make it easy to track the performance of your website which is particularly useful!
